Alicante - Flights, Hotels, Nightlife And More

Of all the towns in the Costa Blanca region, Alicante is probably the most well known and with good reason considering it's huge variety of nearby resorts, wonderful golden coastlines and famous nightlife.

The weather in Alicante is normally very settled with large amounts of sunshine and this brings thousands of sun seekers to this area of Spain while the countless historical buildings and winding streets are ample for most of those looking to see some sights.

Alicante has an official population of around 340,000 but during peak times this number swells as the nearby hotels fill up so if you are looking for a more relaxed trip then why not visit during spring or autumn when the temperatures are not so high and the steets are less crowded.

From the UK there are plenty of flights to Alicante from airports all over the country and in less than 3 hours you will be in the sun of the Eastern coast of Spain.

While Spanish is the most commonly spoken language in Alicante, due to the high numbers of tourist you should be able to get by with English as you explore the other towns and villages around the Alicante central hub. Remember that Alicante is GMT + 1 hour so remember to adjust your watches.
